Step 1: New Project
Overview:

You can either use one of our existing Quickstart Projects, checkout a sample project or open a recently accessed project. To make a menu from scratch, simply choose a Quickstart project with the general attributes your require. Don’t worry about the appearance right now as the next step will allow you to apply an appearance and some menu effects.

Quickstart Projects :


The Quickstart projects list is a list of projects that you can use as the basis for a menu of your own. Simply choose a project that has the same number of menu levels (or some other similar aspect) and move to Step 2: Templates to start customising your menu.

You can create your own Quickstart projects - simply save a project into the Menu Layouts folder and it will appear in the Quickstart projects list next time 1 Cool Menu FX Tool is run.
Preview Window :


The Preview window is a great tool which allows you to see and even preview a project before you start working with it. The Preview window is displayed on the first four steps of 1 Cool Menu FX Tool; New Project, Templates, Define Buttons and Design.

To preview the project highlighted just click on either the Flash or Java preview button. Selecting a Flash preview will create a delay while the flash file is created this will normally be quite brief but may take longer if it is the first time you have used a particular font.

Note: If you select another project to preview (or change templates) the preview mode will stop and you will need to press the preview button again.

This list give you quick and easy access to the list of sample projects and previously opened projects.
