New Project:

Creates a new project. If you are already working on a project it will keep the current one in memory and take you to step 1.

Open Project :

Opens an existing button project file .1cmt file

When you build a menu applet or flash file, 1 Cool Menu FX Tool saves a copy of the .1cmt file to a *.bak file in the build folder as a backup. If you accidentally delete or misplace a .1cmt file, you will have a backup of the file made when you last built the applet. Simply rename the *.bak to a *.1cmt file and you will be able to open it in 1 Cool Menu FX Tool.

Save Project:

Saves the current button project as a .1cmt file

A .1cmt file. is a proprietary file-format which describes your button project, it is not the applet or flash file itself. To turn your button project into a Java applet or Flash file (that can run over the Internet) you must first build your project, then upload it to your web server.

Cut, Copy and Paste:

Allows you to cut, copy and paste buttons or groups of buttons.

Note: You can copy and paste buttons between open projects.

Selective Copy and Paste:

Selective Copy and Paste is a powerful tool which enables you to copy various attributes from one button to another individual button or group of buttons. It allows you to copy all states or just a selected button state attribute to any selected button(s).

1. Select the button source

2. Select the attributes you wish to copy

3. The button(s) you wish to copy to (you can also specify specific states to copy to).

You will find this a very useful and powerful tool in making you buttons look and behave consistently.

Delete:

Deletes the selected button(s). Can be undone.

Help:

Displays this help file.

Projects:

The project control allow you to move between the various projects open in memory.
